This weekend I reorganized my book shelf and as
promised, I am here to reveal the results. Inspired by images throughout the blog world, including
this one just today, I decided to reorganize my bookshelves according to color. I took the covers off of my hardcover books to reveal the solid color spines underneath. I then pulled all of the books out so that they were flush with the largest book to create clean lines. While I still don't have a massive collection, it is growing and I love the look so far!

What do you think? Have you ever organized your bookshelves (or DVD shelves) in a unique way? What was it?
Also, I am currently without a new book to read and looking for suggestions! What are you reading currently?

Yes and I've even heard of people buying vintage lots of books off Etsy in a color they needed to fill in their collection. I would say that's silly, but I get it :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous! I'm happy Im not the only crazy one. I actually was so intent on having my books look more uniform that I turned them all page-side out. Take a peek!

I love books organized by color. Your shelves look amazing! Organizing my bookshelf is on the top of my to-do list once the christmas tree is out of the living room, ahem, and the bookshelf is allowed back in :).
ReplyDelete@ Jenn: Be sure to post photos when the shelves get brought back in and organized! :)
